I would like to be pleasantly surprised by ENI, or a consortium taking an interest in the Tassie Shoal projects before the merger.( If it happens.)
ENI do not have a lot of connection with MEO at present. 50% of Blackwood, nothing else.
We are supposed to have an update on the future of Blackwood soon , however long soon is.
But the reality is , when you are an ant walking between the giants toes, you are at the giants mercy.
I would want nothing better than to see TS sold before the merger.
But in real life that seems unlikely. Remembering scheduled meetings with surrounding gas field partnerships for gas supply are not until some time to be announced in February.
So until then the best option is the merger.
