One should always question the motivation of those purporting to be experts on a given topic.
As someone once said, an expert is a drip under pressure, if you get my drift.
This topic is put up on this site to encourage rational input. Unfortunately, many of the anticipated respondents will adhere to the tried and disproven, outdated Labor mantra.
It would be refreshing to hear someone who has an open mind on such an issue (and if anyone can actually prove me or the opening statements inaccurate, I welcome the education) and it is all I am seeking.
Independent thought process into what is a very debatable question.
If you really believe that mankind has caused the climate to change, please provide emphatic proof.
If you think you have proof, make sure it is universally agreed.
If you understand the effect of solar flares, please provide an explanation of why they are not relevant in the cliamtioc changes we see on earth over eons.
If you think that volcanic activity is immaterial in the big picture, please explain?
If you can provide impeccable evidence that man made pollution, (which incidentally since the 60's I have been hopeful of reducing) is causing the planet to warm, change, cool or whatever, please provide undeniable evidence.
I'm not interested in looking at cut and pastings from various sources.
I want first hand proof.
Hopefully, the zealots out there have a mature enough brain to provide the empirical evidence to support their blind cult following?
If I am convinced that we are causing the change in the climate over and above that naturally caused, I will willingly l revisit my thoughts.
