The reserve bank has no power to control commodity prices falling below marginal cost even with an exchange of .70usd therefore you economic theory is false.

I have been an economist for 30 years .. watched RBA move many times ..

the RBA will lower interest rates to 2% in 2015.. regardless of the IO price ..Up or Down ..

RBA watches unemployment, inflation, housing prices growth...and overseas US rates to determine its policy direction .. it does NOT watch Comodities !!!!!!!!!!

your crazy if you think AUD and RBA watch gold copper oil or IO prices .. LOL !!!
