    Plough That view is not true about the submarines.
    A friend of mine worked on the first submarine. He worked for an industrial plastics company manufactured plastic products with no experience in the level of technology in submarines.

    He was paid to heat weld plastic submarine pipes together and told me he always panicked because he didn't feel he knew what he was doing. These pipes pumped water in and out of a submarine.

    There is a big difference between heat welding linoleum and submarine pipes but the submarine corporation either didn't see it that way or didn't know who they were using to build their projects.
