Certainly not,the difference between being firstbegotten/born and being a created being is far and away different in all aspects and not just a matter of semantics at all. This concept affects the atonement in every aspect.
This is why the bible says test the spirits, those that say Jesus came in the flesh are of God and those that dont the opposite 1john 4.1
"It also states in the scriptures that Jesus as a reward for what he has done gained the reward of everlasting life. This would also point out that prior to being given this Jesus had only immortal life. If he was born a literal son he should have inherited everlasting life at birth not been given it billions of years later."
That is why i quoted Philipians
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of menhilipians 2.7
This is exactly what Jesus did,he laid aside his divine atributes that he already had in heaven as Gods divine son,and became flesh here on earth and was subject to everything this entails to be a human,he thirst he hungered he wept,he became flesh and as our example he had to rely on his father just as we do john 5.30
If we take your sinerio to be correct, and Jesus was a created being,we have no atonement, the breaking of gods holy law and mankind not being made in the image of God anymore, called for an atonement of equal value as that which was lost, divine for divine, gold for gold, not gold for bronze etc.if Jesus was a created being, that voids the atonement of being equal value and also voids him being divine by the fact he was created.
A created being cannot restore man to divinity, also a created being cannot accept worship, and God has said we are to worship his son as we are to worship himself
"The difference in layman's terms is. If you have immortal life you can still die as your life force still emanates from Jehovah."
That contradicts what immortal life means, immortal life is unconditional,Jesus by his sacrifice was able to take up what he left behind when his sacrifice here was accepted, immortality is unconditional
"If you have eternal life you can never die as you become a life force unto yourself no longer dependent upon Jehovah."
Eternal life is promised to those who accept Jesus sacrifice etc
