Rags, you could be right, maybe it is better to mix things up, but I'm just not a good trader. Maybe I put too much emotion into it - buy and sell at the wrong times. My long term investments have done very well, and my trading results are really ordinary. I've given up on trading and will just look for good long term investments based on sound fundamentals. I remember when I first got involved in the stock market, I read a few books and the experts all reckon you should work out what type of person you are and find a strategy that fits. I don't have the right temperament for trading, but I guess I shouldn't put others down - it's just not for me.
