Got a price from my supplier this morning.
KCL Fertiliser grade - muriate of potash, current retail price in Perth is about A$790 / ton
K2SO4 (SOP) is A$ 1040 / ton
Those prices exclusive of GST but include delivery of about $30 / tonne
Its the difference that's relevant here, so about A$250 more for the SOP.
Also need to consider amount of each my supplier sells, value of $A when he bought it,
whether grades are comparable etc.
Anyway the claimed difference of $300 - 350? is probably correct.
Regards to all STB holders.
Big year ahead methinks!
