You are not a genius on the IMI issue. In fact on these issues you're the opposite.
For the past two years upwards of 90% of shareholders have been unable to sell. No market for them. With a 1.125 consolidation about 98% will be wiped out.
Laugh as you will at 1500 individual investors in IMI who for no fault of their own will be terminated when this "takeover" - the third similar proposal in over 12 months goes ahead. You should have been savy enough to post your genius 14 months ago. The same thing happened then. Where were you!
I might add that for the top 10 shareholders (may be less) in IMI this new proposed "takeover" looks to be the best proposition presented to them to date. Small comfort for those other 1500 who will be wiped out in the process.
