My brother had his own construction company for 15 years. He sold is share of the company to his partner and went his own way.
My brother did most of the construction cost estimating when he had his own company. He ended up contracting to Abi Group which was a major player in the BER. . He was not signing the contracts for Abi group, just administering the works executed. Progrees payments, profit loss statements and so on.
He said from what he saw the schools/education department / government/ TAX PAYER were paying 2 to 3 times more than what they really should cost.
Thinking like you do saltocan I think money was wasted on your education. More in the sense that you did not take it in.
