No new a/c in the QAN long haul fleet for sometime now so revitalising the fleet is a bit of a stretch IMO.

Pretty optimistic stuff predicting billion dollar profits. All of you who put Joycey Boy on a podium have forgotten some very real statistics;

Loss last FY, $2.8 billion ( yes, when JB has managed to find not one but three separate $billion profits, we will have just broken even). Ask yourself this question, when did Qantas last do that?

Share price when JBtook over, about $2.40. Share price is now at $2.34! Call me old fashioned or a whinger but I would have thought it reasonable for investors to expect better than this.

Dividends, none since JB took over Qantas. No need to expand on this one. Keep dreaming about this one ed, won't happen anytime soon.

Yes ed, I may have a whinge every now and then but what I mostly try to do is tell some home truths.

I find your deadwood statement interesting when you consider it was the same "deadwood" as you put it that was responsible for making QF the great company that it once was.

Don't get me wrong Ed, I am a passionate worker and fan of QF, flying is what I love to do. What does annoy me though is people like you giving praise to a CEO who clearly has very poor management skills and who has in real terms taken this company backwards. With the right leader I believe that QAN would have made plenty in the last 6 years, not lost plenty.
