But, for some investors, having a simple, child-like faith that management will fix all problems may not be enough. Some people think that getting out there, and doing a bit of research and thinking themselves, is actually a good idea!
For example, did you know, before the point was made here, that the Tanzanian Mining Act requires that the company have 25% ownership by Tanzanian citizens, if a mine is of any significant size (>US$100K)?
Have you considered how this will affect your shareholding?
These are obviously not questions to be directed to the company. They are issues for each individual. One thing is for sure - shutting our eyes to the problem will NOT make it go away.
