    Believe it or not benny, some of us have better things to do than hang around HC all day!

    The only part of your post that merits any sort of response:

    Firstly, our argument has never been about mechanism. This is a red herring you've dragged in. Secondly, it's not really true. There are still some aspects of aspirin's action that remain unclear but it's major anti inflammatory actions are well understood. As I said, that is not and has never been the point.

    I'll say it just once more. Aspirin is a useful drug because it has been through many clinical trials. yes, some of those trials have been controversial and some have been flawed but its usefulness in treating real world human conditions is unquestioned and supported by a myriad objective clinical trials. I venture to say that 90% of the claims advertised on the Mercola website have not been clinically trialled and have no human based tests to support the assertions.

    You have no point to make.
