Because If Australia only voted Abbott in to get rid of Rudd and Labor then they will most likley stick with him come election time.

He is the main reason for the changing of the labor leaders and is responsable for most of the turmoil in labor.

He has an accusation of rape hanging over his head and will more than likely be called before the royal C into union corruption a couple of times on different matters and may also get dragged into court when the AWU scandal gets a hearing.
