This was the statement from my post. The accusation of Gillard lying gained traction with the electorate and clearly showed the community wanted honesty in our leadership. I'm surprised you take issue with it. The dark humour is that they booted out a PM for one lie and installed the 'Prince of Porkpies', Abbott in her place. By contrast, many now look back and wonder what the fuss was all about. A feeling that they've been had by the LNP and their big corporate supporters.
