The takeover looked a 'lay messier' at NAV + goodwill - but there has not been any indications that real negotiations are in play or there is a 'real' buyer / buyers for DVN.

There has been no announcements from either LEI or management of DVN regarding the progress of the matter. DVN management have been 'light on' with information as to what they expect short and long term for DVN if a takeover offer does not happen.

Management are running the sale process DVN and their intentions, and expectation are not likely to be the same as shareholders especially if a potential buyer is likely to show the existing management the door and restructure the business.

DVN looks a very saleable business - just get on with it!
