ML173. I had decided to refrain from any more posing in CTR's forum until we see some more detail to that 24 December announcement. But, your first sentence has to be addressed and if I made no reply, people will give credibility to that suggestion.
I categorically state that I have as much information about this company as everyone else who is prepared to do their research from what is on the public record. All my comments are strictly from conclusions that I have drawn from that information and, at most, my reading between the lines, which, maybe, others haven't or have read differently.
I could be absolutely wrong and I have hedged that risk by actively dollar cost averaging, which, as I'm sure you are aware, had effectively increased that risk significantly. But, so far, the decisions that I have made in that regard, based upon my own conclusions, have proven to be correct and as a consequence, my risk is now very close to being neutral, thanks to my punt on their getting that funding. Buying @.001 was a huge risk as you can imagine, but, fortunately, it worked out. I now only have my first punt exposure which has nearly been covered by the result from my funding bet.

And, as you have read, I have as much ambivalence about that deal as everyone else. We need very much more detail before we can relax about it and as you rightly put, and which I have also stated, how they manage this last funding will be a critical time for this management and we must watch it closely.

But, there ARE chances that they can pull it off. The assets ARE there, it's now just all about exploiting them as expeditiously as possible. That is the demand on management.
They have stuffed up, without doubt, but, I'd be most surprised if they do not realize how precariously they commence 2015. There is a lot of news in the process of being provided and I'm very keenly looking forward to the next few weeks to be able to analyse that information.

I'd like to comment about the cost of the Texas well where you stated that it will cost in excess of $3.5 million to drill. CTR only has 18.2% of that well and their estimated overall costs, including completion, will be around $900K. But, cash is at an absolute premium as their share of the Atzam expenses have also increased as a result of that deal.
Management says that their "expertise" is in funding and management and that's why they are going to put O&G "experts" on the Board, so, being "expert" in funding and management, which, so far leaves quite a bit to be desired, we really can only hope that they do a better job this time knowing that this could very easily be their last chance.
I'm just watching this space and waiting for more details.
LAR is a total mystery to me and I'm just looking to CTR management to do a better job of managing that aspect. Again, shareholders are in the hands of management and their performance over the next few weeks/months will determine how we fare. After all, it's a PUNT starting today @ .002.
You get what you pay for.
