HISTORY - 1930's and 1940's:
Before and during World War II, the German extremists, namely the Nazi's were eradicating everyone who wasn't 'pure'
The world initially stood by, the do gooders not wanting to interfere, and millions of Jews were killed because of there race/religion.
From what history shows, the Nazi's were pretty nasty, killing by firing squads and gas chambers
And the world didnt want to intervene, didnt want to know about it and stayed in denial
... and as a disclaimer, I'm not Jewish, and dont have some axe to grind over either germans or jews
CURRENT DAY:
Islamic extremists, namely ISIS, Al Queda, and numerous other nutter groups are eradicating everyone they can who isnt 'pure'
Terrorist bombings of innocent men, woman and children, abduction and rape of school girls, beheading of anyone that does not 'believe'
And the do gooders dont want to interfere... they want to sit back and blame the USA for the actions of these extremists, or say 'its not our problem', its the middle east and we should stay out of it.
So I say to you Free Will, you are so right.... we have not learnt from history!
Out of curiosity, Free Will do you think the world should have intervened to save the genocide of the Jews by the Nazi's. And if the guy next door is beating up his wife everyday, or raping young girls... or boys, or the woman down the street was beating her kids and cutting them with knives, would you intervene and stop it, or call the police, or would you say I dont want to get involved.
People who just want to sit on the sidelines and say its not our problem, we cant do anything, just piss me off!
