Doves, that's a fair question and I'm glad you understood my post where Bowral obviously couldn't.

First, this is an internet forum and as I've previously stated 90% of what you see on here would never be repeated in real life. They say and act this way because it's anonymous and they can get away with it. Different scenario when you are face to face with someone. So my attitude of not tolerating fools may be amplified on this forum as certain animals only respond to the boot & the fist.

If I can qualify for baptism and that's a fare way off I would have already applied the "new personality".

    Ephesians 4.

"You were taught to put away the old personality that conforms to your former course of conduct and that is being corrupted according to its deceptive desires. And you should continue to be made new in your dominant mental attitude, and should put on the new personality that was created according to God’s will in true righteousness and loyalty."

I say a fair way off, but I don't drink, don't smoke, don't do drugs and have a fair understanding of the bible. So as long as I can apply the new personality I should be ok, and that will happen by Gods grace. So, let's say I manage to get baptized and if I am out on the ministry and I knock on a door and a complete moron answers. I have to keep in mind that I represent Jehovah and this person no matter what he says or does is one of Jehovah's children and if I can help him great if not so be it.

    1 Timothy 2.

"whose will is that all sorts of people should be saved+ and come to an accurate knowledge of truth."

In the ministry I'll be representing Jehovah and trying to do what Christ commanded his followers to do.

    Mathew 28.

"Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”

So my intention is only to do what is required to be a follower of Christ. I'm an imperfect man and I do have some bad traits. With a deep study of the bible and by congregating with like minded individuals I hope to clothe myself in the new personality so that I can accomplish my ministry. I'm not saying it will be easy and perhaps I may be put to the test. I can only pray that I'm man enough to pass that test and bring no reproach to Jehovah's holy name.

The thing is, if I'm wrong I don't lose as I've brought my family up with the bible and I have a family that I love dearly. We've all discussed it at length and we are all positive that this is the right course of action. I have looked at the Jehovah's witnesses for quite a while and I see no bad in their doctrine or in what they do. Of course there will be bad sheep amongst the flock but I'm serving Jehovah not the witnesses as I am a witness of Jehovah. If I don't become a witness who else is doing the will of the father and carrying out Jesus's commandment on the Earth today, I can honestly say after a long search. No one else is bar the Witnesses.

I hope that answers your question.
