Re CVX, yes, know they r in Gorgon & Wheatstone but thought they were in with BPT as well but might be wrong. CVX is hard to judge, it's too complex even compared with RDS & I've never held it on the NYSE.
RDS ejects & then injects in/ bids for things all the time & runs its' portfolio similar to a churn & burn fundie. It's less difficult to FV compared with CVX but only due to LSE/ Euronext governance re disclosures & listing rules compared with those of the NYSE. RDS only discloses to meet regulatory requirements, certainly not to be charitable to investors all IMHO but pls DYOR.
