I doubt Marmite is halal - it's beef extraxt I believe. The beef would have to be halal beforehand. But I could be wrong.

Promite doesn't have the mark - though the company that makes it is owned by a religious organisation. And according to my Vegemite-loving mate, the taste makes him want to throw up. I quite like it myself..

I belive Dick Smith foods has a similar product - and is definitely NOT halal certified..
