I would say it's just traders. In general, I think the insider trading aspect is greater with mining explorers than shells. Shells tend to announce acquisition news out of the blue, whereas I've seen dozens of examples of heavy volume increases, just prior to drill core assays being released to market. I imagine we will see an acquisition when we least expect it. Of course that doesn't mean price can't go up a little more.
