I haven't seen anyone being "crucified" - Hanlong ala Lui Han was no more but an instrument towards an ambitious low-ball end objedctive of a certain country - which went terribly wrong when the "tool" thought he could take his chances.
Remember that Hanlong came in by the backdoor when they acquired Talbot's stake out of the family estate. This came as a big surprise to GC & GJ when they found Lui Han "helping himself to a cuppa in the kitchen on the Monday morning". (Or so we are told.)
