"What is the rational behind the exclusion of Gaza and the West Bank?"
Yeah, let's give homicide bombers and their supporters the right to vote.......
Whilst I believe that the West Bank should be part of Israel as it falls into the biblical place known as Yehudah (Judah) and Shomron, why would anyone want to give avowed enemies the right to vote in the very country they wish to destroy?
Gaza, as far as I'm concerned they can vote in the Egyptian elections......They were after all under their rule from 48-67......
The Palestinians have got an opportunity to vote or at least they think they do....
They can vote in their own elections, both in Gaza and the West Bank........
When and if they ever become officially citizens of Israel with all the obligations and responsibilities associated with being citizens, I personally will stand up for their right to vote in the Israeli elections.
