you forgot to quote the first part of the article rusty

    "
Market expectations, however, did not materialize. Why?
High inventories are blamed for weak prices, Shanghai Securities News cited industry source as saying.
LME nickel inventories ballooned up to 415,000 tonnes, up 54% from 270,000 tonnes last March, according to latest industry data.
The supply volumes of low and medium-grade nickel ore from the Philippines also far exceeded earlier market estimate. "

A few ports in China don't make a market. LME stock at 5 year high. Nickel prices in a deep bear market.
Some analysts are bullish, some are bearish. Just depends which one you wanna back. You will only ever quote the bullish ones of course.
At current 1% nickel laterite prices Isabel is not viable. Opex = Price at port

And rusty, you never heard of economies of scale of course. Don't believe slasha and other rampers who say SMM want Isabel because they think it is worth $600bn. Too much HC nonsense.
Isabel has been around for decades. It's not a new discovery. If it was such an unbelievable world class asset someone would have picked it up.
Plenty of nickel laterite hopefuls even on the ASX, some looking to go DSO. What are their market caps?
