    Yes, China can ensure that it won't be for weapons.

    After all, China also produces some Uranium as well. That and some imports from some countries, if necessary, can be used for weapons.

    Perhaps the US could be invited to promise that U won't be used for weapons. I'll bet they won't be able to keep that promise.

    So, there is nothing against selling U to China.

    Those against sales will need to ignore prejudices and observe reality.

    Perhaps Aussie should'nt be selling some strategic metals to China as well? But they have done for some years.

    Think straight, please.
