So I take it HS that you feel they are doing all they can - if so thats fine....

I dont, and i would suggest that sending out a few boxes of Yowie's to Reviews on YouTube is a start but surely they should be doing at least some marketing? No not full blown national advertising but something other then nothing would be good.

You dont have to be an expert in Marketing or Retai/FMCG to know that Yowie is dragging the chain in this area. Or maybe they are just waiting to do a CR based on the need to have an expensive marketing campaign and ramp up production - which would be fine by me.

TDA - love all those things and agree i cant see Yowie not being a worldwide smash as they were in all the markets they entered before, and im not here just for the chocolate its the other opportunities that really make this so attractive. Whilst i accept the view that creating demand or product awareness before full coverage or accessibility of your product might backfire - i dont believe that target marketing in specific areas & social media will harm it after all its a chocolate, not a new IPhone or Car or Gaming Machine - which btw are not put off by not having full market access at the same time.

Remember they spent big $$$ on that Game "which is pretty good" - and it just sits there on the Website getting next to no traffic directed to it. I like the idea of the game, and no doubt it was a positive thing when discussing with the T1s, but to make that outlay and then not drive traffic to it just seems crazy.

Anyways at least we can all agree that we like the product ...............................
