That is immaterial, really.
If China can't get it from here they can get it from other countries.
The Greens use a few supports to remain in Govt. Take one of their main supports away and they will have less votes.
It is all a matter of power as far as the Greens and Beattie are concerned. THe letter is stuck because his sole argument was a false one. He shot himself in the foot.
The Aussie FED can override the States as far as mining is concerned anyway.
Australia won't be having nuclear stations for years, so that argument does'nt exist.
As far as the US is concerned, they have done a lot of damage in the last few years and unfortunately dragged Aussie and the UK in as well.
I repeat that the US should not be using U for weapons; obviously, they can think straight as there are not that many objectors from there against China getting U from Aussie.
The US doesn't even insist on India signing a nuclear treaty.
If Aussie won't supply then Canada certainly will.
