haven't heard back yet but did find this from a AVX release in Nov. 2011 page 7 has a bit about the ph III trial

A Dec. 2012 shareholder address also talks about the EU medical board asking for a similar thing to the FDA.
The only things Dr Coates has intimated is that things are being put in place so the trial can start as soon as the funding comes in. Yep, it would be nice to know the coal contract terms but all he would say is that at current prices the mine has a good margin and they can see no reason why AVX will not receive a cash flow to fund the trial. His words were  "they wouldn't have done this if they weren't sure of a positive outcome."
He said they need $30 - $40 million to fund the FDA approved trial, so I suppose it's  a waiting game now. And yes and update would be nice.
