I think a lot of your references point to a lot of supply which won't necessarily help property prices.
But if the population forecasts come off it will provide plenty of demand.
Just looked back on another article that Sector posted a while back, it quoted ABS forecasts of Perth population increasing by 143% by 2050. The highest of any city in Oz.
Have you heard any of the catalysts for the population increase? Is it majority mining related or are there other industries setting up home in the West?
