I always avoid regional areas, they are just like the penny stock of property investment (i.e. Cadoux). It's a boom or bust area. But if you own within inner Perth (Bayswater, Kensington, etc) the change of 30% drop overnight is non-existence. Always buy investment grade property. If you're buying the 3rd investment peoperty from spare money/profit money, then regional area is a good punt.
