If people spent more time looking into Jim Phipps' credentials as a Saudi Lawyer they would probably feel alot more confident about how this is being handled, even if it is taking a long time.

He's been working as an international business attorney in Riyadh since the first gulf war. He is well versed in Sharia Law and is a respected authority in negotiating JVs/resolving disputes between western and local interests.

It'd be a bit like having Adam Scott as a caddy at your local weekend comp. You'd expect he'd have a fair idea of which club to use and when.
