Do you run a business? Do you have an idea what we have to go through, every waking minute, to survive in Manufacturing in Australia?
We have to compete with Vietnam and Thailand, where the pay is about $1 per hour, the Local Govt gives the MFR the Land for free, there is only 15% Company tax for the first 7 years, etc, etc

And you expect my business to be able to compete, with the lower productivity, penalty rates, that we are forced to pay.

You must realise- it is NOT highly paid jobs Vs. Low paid jobs
It is High paid Jobs Vs NO jobs.

The Unions, penalty rates, restrictive work practices etc hold no place in the future of Australia.
Those days are over.
The future of Australia, is where smart, punctual productive workers get well paid and will deal directly with the Management of the Company and negotiate individual pay rates.

Unproductive, uncaring, unionised workers will get NOTHING
