I watched the stirring speeches by Bush and then by Howard on the telly last night, rallying the masses round the flag etc etc, and the first thought that came to my mind was those two blokes on the muppets who sat in the private box and bagged Kermit all night. I think their names were Statler and Waldorf.
Every time I see them now I have to laugh.
