JUst like during the tech boom when people were saying this boom is different,
technology is here to stay
it is going to change how we live our lives and do business for ever.
it is unlike any boom before, this just the begining of a new era.
all of which has proven to be true but it made no difference bringing share price of tech companies with real products back to earth and causing companies who had nothing but hype disappear completely.
and now very similar things are being said about the current resource boom.

You can never over estiamate how far people are prepared to push a boom and how ridiculous prices can be that people are prepared to pay during a boom
and
ALL investment booms ARE followed by a bust - the bigger the boom the bigger the bust
