That's a silly thing you said . I don't value Abbott any more highly than any other politician of his ilk to be honest . He certainly wouldn't be my choice as leader ,but we've had far worse . There's certainly none that I love or hate ,but certainly get plenty of amusement from most. A bit like the posters on this thread.
You never seem to be able to digest my obviously wasted breath . Of course CFO'S attribute drop in confidence to the Government if they're asked whether it's due to the Government or not . The Government always gets blamed for people's problems when times are tough ,sometimes when they're not . The Government has tried ,unsuccessfully ,to do unpalatable things ,well that's hardly going to get anyone to like them is it. There has never been a government in the history of the world that's tried to take anything off anybody that anyone who is on the receiving end has agreed with. Likewise businesses are struggling ,who else is there to blame but the Government ,certainly CFO's wouldn't be saying no it's me ,I'm the problem
Go back to someone who doesn't do any of that and keep the punch bowl flowing ,confidence will come back ,the leader will be popular.
There are so many diverging and complex issues involved in confidence surveys they're a waste of time ,but it keeps pollsters employed
