That there are shells and marine fossils found on the Andes does not support special creation, it does not support a world wide flood. It does support a very long geological and evolutionary history.
That there are marine fossils found on mountains does not address distribution, ie, that marsupials can only be found in Australia and ancient land connections such as Tasmania and New Guinea.
Marsupial evolution is a consequence of the breakup of Gondwana and the isolation of Australian land mass. As was the case for New Zealand, etc.
Put all of this into perspective, the evidence paints a picture of natural evolution over a vast period of time. Long periods of relative equilibrium that are punctuated by extinction events and relatively rapid speciation.
The evidence does not paint a picture of special creation where species appear out of thin air as an act of 'God' - an unexplained entity that has no evidence for its existence.

How long would it take you to teach a stone the truth about evolution? A stone will remain a stone.
Has it occurred to you that the argument or debate is not about evolution vs creation, but rather the fact that not all people have the gift or capacity to reason? People are not created equal.
