You are missing the point entirely. Go back and look at what I said.

I did not say: Buddhism is defined as a philosophy of mind. It is not.
I did not say Buddhists themselves define Buddhism as a philosophy of mind. They do not.
I did not say that Buddhism should be defined as a philosophy of mind. It is not up to me.

I said Buddhism could be better defined as a philosophy of mind rather than a religion. That of course is open to debate. I added 'mind' because desire, fear, enlightenment, etc, are all matters of the mind.

The problem is, you seized onto a casual remark, a remark that was merely intended to make a distinction between religions of faith and religions (as currently defined) that lean toward philosophy.

So you take a casual remark, make an assumption that were not intended, and run with that assumption for all its worth, for whatever purpose you have in mind.
