Atheists are justified for their lack of belief in the existence of a God or god by the absence of evidence for the existence of a God or gods.

Most atheists are capable of accepting the existence of a God if evidence for the existence of a God came to light.

The absence of evidence to support a proposition is the justification for not being convinced of the truth of the proposition.

If someone told you they have invisible magic pixies living at the bottom of their garden, you would, if rational, ask 'where is your evidence?'' and if told 'they are invisible and undetectable' and must be believed on faith alone....what would be the rational position to take, immediately accept the word of the claimant and form conviction in the reality of IMP's? Or do you say, thanks very much for your information, but I'll wait for proof?

''Now my opinion is this. Atheists are decisively more wrong than creationists because at least creationists get the very first principle.''

What is this 'first principle' that atheists don't get?
