NOUAKCHOTT, March 30 (Reuters) - Australian oil firm Woodside Petroleum Ltd will pay Mauritania $100 million in compensation and return 50 percent of its oil acreage there under a deal to resolve a contract dispute, an oil ministry official said on Thursda The official, who asked not to be identified, said Woodside would also allocate $200 million a year to cover environmental risks as part of the agreement.
