It was interesting tonight that the 7.30 report didn't have any item related to Abbott's press conference today.
The wierd thing about Abbott is that his public persona is hopeless yet on a personal level he's just a great guy . I just happened to switch on to media watch and the stuck up cretin who runs that was giving him another gobful in his imperious authoritarian way ,as if he knows exactly what's going on in all these trumped up media manipulation jobs. Also he's onto Murdoch again ,never turned that show on where he's not portraying Murdoch as Satan
There's a saying in American Politics that once you're image is stuck in cement you're finished. I don't really know whether the cement has set on Abbott but it must be close. The only thing I can observe is that the vitriol and hate is so bad ,the left media have gone into complete overdrive ,maybe this is as bad as it gets . Surely they can't keep this hot air going for another 18 months
