what has happened in the past with TNG is comical. How long has TIVAN been under development now, six years? how much money has been thrown at it? - TNG don't say but it wouldn't be cheap. As far as I can see CSIRO's efforts are simply proof of concept - the real plant will one day have to be built and that will be a different and really expensive story. Furthermore, why are TNG involved in pioneering a new hydrometallurgical process when there are already workable hydrometallurgical processes for the extraction of Vanadium etc? it doesn't make sense.
and if Mt Peake is as good as TNG claim, why haven't they gone ahead LONG BEFORE now and organised mining activities - how long do they need to get Mt Peake up and running? the DFS and mining startup should already be firing and yet they are still screwing around withn TIVAN and the DFS.... you're wrong wombat, I do know the TNG story and they will be spinning it for a long time to come IMO.
