Read my posts again.. I only implied the USD debts balloon out when the AUD falls, based on the Australian company perspective...
I see now FMG reported everything in USD. I guess they have done as such, so the debt does not look so horrible at the current conversion rate AUD/US of 76c.

Balance Sheet:
Net debt at 31 December 2014 was US $7.5 bilion, including finance lease of US$0.3 billion and cash on hand of US$1.6 billion
