Yes I did notice the fall at the end.

I personally don't think people would be shorting the stock to try get in cheaper. Certainly no one with any house would do that, as you would more likely be left with no stock trying to get back in on a run up if oil continues upwards etc.

I think its just an investor taking a position. You can really only do it in 50k lots on market - its a think stock. If you want a block you need to go direct to larger holders and trade broker to broker or off market. Clearly Northern went direct with arranged sales.

Remember to add in the debt for the EV - we are really a $150m company now.

Our main issues are the weak oil price, cant help that, and the NW assets which seem to sit there doing nothing.

One other thing I do not like is a 35% interest in a Myanmar block and that ridiculous 10% call option with WHL for Victoria. Both of those plays show we are weak and really cannot make our own decisions so we are taking small positions with - in the case of WHL - a nobody. Roc isn't anything flash either - though they have improved last few years after bankrupting themselves with the purchase of Anzoil.

Maybe its time Troy left before he is pushed, maybe he is just not up to task.
