I think the opposite. I think her approach is a breath of fresh air. It sounds like she is going to consult widely before legislating anything. And she didn't promise much expenditure on anything, was very modest.
As to the economic doom and gloom that is what most thinking people all over Australia are expecting over the next few years.
For global reasons harder times are beginning for Australia after a long spell of good times.
Governments of all political persuasions are in for a torrid time in this country.
