"Capital raising is not an issue "

I guess it isn't an issue if you don't mind being diluted (which is another way of saying you don't mind transferring some of your wealth as an incumbent shareholder to new, incoming shareholders who are lucky enough to participate in discounted stock placements).

But just like I don't go into the street and hand out my capital to complete strangers, so too do I have a distaste for being disadvantaged as a minority shareholder when some investment banker lines the pockets of his institutional mate in a discounted placement.

How is such a prospect not an issue for you?

I think I'm about to learn something here: can you please explain how the number of shares on issue has any bearing on the ability - or otherwise - of company's to raise capital should the need arise?
