Director, I use both Hitman pro and Malwarebytes along with VIPRE as a virus protection.
I just downloaded and ran the Junkware Removal Tool and it didn't find anything nasty...though it did find my connection to HC and disconnected me!
I don't usually have many problems, though I did get hit with that PC Locker bug a year or so ago....not from a porn site either! It actually came from an attachment I opened being I receive emails from known clients as well as unknown senders... I don't open attachments now unless I know what's in them or their source!
Gotta say that was stressful! Fortunately I was able to get rid of that by taking out the hard drive and putting it into a docker then running an antivirus program through my laptop.
