I respect the right of the Indonesian state, to pass laws and impose penalties for how they see fit, and to not expect any undue influence on the operation of those laws, just like I would expect the Indonesians to respect and abide by our laws in our own country.
Indonesia is I understand it, facing an unprecedented problem with drugs, I read there are up to 50 people a day dying there because of heroin overdoses alone.
No wonder the new Indonesian president is going hard on this issue.
Back to the OP, I still don't think it is in the best interests of any party or organisation to set aside quotas for a particular demographic, gender, sexual orientation or religious belief.
I find the concept highly discriminatory and against the very values of tolerance and free and open society that we aspire to live in.
