Your cant blame Ruddock for any shortcomings of passing information on to the PM when its been reported that even donors are being asked to pay for access to PM and I know lots of LNP Members who complain of no longer having access to the MP's they helped do fundraising for etc to get in and then cant get access, any type of access and need to compete with the paying type of access customers and donors.
Agree its disgusting to charge donors for questions and members cant even get time after elections when they win govt but so is not the paying of $millions by foreign govt owned corporations to both EX ALP & LNP MP's & ex PM'S who now call themselves Lobbyists` surely a little bit treasonous?
So Tony had a revolt which nearly lost him his job as leader because he did not consult with some who experienced memory loss problems at a Royal Commission was a bit rich imo, but if Tony Abbott does not have the power to sack such people then his problems will persist imo.
