Philips is a name-dropping game changer, but I too, don't think that Philips is going to be a big bottom line deal for ADO (I think the deal would be peanuts for Philips), so I doubt it's enough for them to go develop the tech and acquire counter patents themselves.

That's also not how the Dutch operate, though there must be exceptions.

So I think the chance of Philips running away with the tech is extremely low.

But why they haven't hit an announcement is still a worry; it could mean there are delays in the testing or problems with the planned production process. Still, while the music is on, the dancing continues...
