Agreed. More and more supply will be taken out of the market this year and Rio's position strengthens by the day. Sure profit this year will be down on last year if these IO prices persist, but it is still raking in billions of dollars which will justify improved returns and a much greater share price IMO. The second tier players in Oz won't survive two years unless price rebound dramatically an high cost Chinese mines will continue to close, some of which already have in the last six months. Rio is a new-look company and so it should be after its past mistakes.
